School Age Engagement (Ages 6-12)

After School Care

We assist children with learning, studying, and completing homework assignments after school. There are many activities planned daily to ensure our children remain engaged once their assignments are completed. Around here, we like to make learning FUN!

STEM Projects

STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. STEM is important because it pervades every part of our lives.  According to the National Science Foundation, “In the 21st century, scientific and technological innovations have become increasingly important as we face the benefits and challenges of both globalization and a knowledge-based economy. To succeed in this new information-based and highly technological society, students need to develop their capabilities in STEM to levels much beyond what was considered acceptable in the past.” We have cultivated a STEM friendly environment for your child to learn and grow in these areas.

Summer Entrepreneurship Program

Over the course of 10 weeks, your child will learn the foundations of financial literacy and create a mock business plan. Students who complete the most coursework will be given a stipend to begin the process of actually launching their business.

One of our first school age students is starting a candle business. He completed several DIY candle projects, and presented them to our group. He remained engaged throughout the duration of the program and completed all financial literacy assignments. Our program WORKS!

Some of the resources we use are: Finance 101 for Kids: Money Lessons, Kid Start-Up: How YOU Can be an Entrepreneur, and The Startup Squad.
