Nikishia C. Morgan, MSW, LMSW, is a dynamic leader, social worker, and early childhood educator with over 25 years of experience serving children, families, and underserved communities. As the owner and operator of Kingdom Kiddies II Family Childcare Home in Southwest Philadelphia, she blends compassionate care with educational excellence, focusing on social-emotional development and inclusive practices.
Nikishia's career spans roles in residential treatment, child welfare, public education, and nonprofit management. She led Pennsylvania's most extensive teen parenting program through the School District of Philadelphia, managing a multi-million-dollar state grant and supporting hundreds of young families. She is also a DEI trainer and consultant known for delivering transformative training on equity, anti-bias practices, and inclusive leadership.
A gifted writer and advocate, Nikishia co-authored Taj's Bad Day, a children's book that promotes emotional resilience, accompanied by a social-emotional learning (SEL) workbook. She actively engages communities through book readings, parenting workshops, and her signature family training, Respectful Guidance That Works. Nikishia holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Lincoln University and an MSW from Temple University, and she is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Education Leadership & Management at Walden University. She also sits on Pennsylvania's State Advisory Council for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Subcommittee, where she contributes to shaping equitable policies across the Commonwealth. and serves as Parliamentarian for the Philadelphia Alumni Association Board of Lincoln University, further advancing leadership and alums engagement efforts. Through her work, she continues uplifting families, mentoring professionals, and building systems where every child can thrive.
